Hi Steven,
Thanks for the reply- I understand that Yamahas have key work similar to Buffet's so switching would not be a problem.
Interestingly, yesterday, after putting some "final touches" on the Evette, I started playing it - seems like the sound is "opening up".
I am starting to hear some color in its tone, and the resistance is similar to my Buffet. Which is an R13P, so any comparison to the Evette is unfair.
I think I need to come down in my clarinet search and maybe go and clean my bicycle...or repaint my living room.
I do enjoy fixing clarinets much more than painting rooms.
