How good can be a clarinet tuned in A by V. Kohlert Sons Graslitz A L.P? How much would it cost if it were new?

Probably a pretty good clarinet, and who the hell knows? Your clarinet is about 90 years old.

After the War, the factory became Amati. So, historically pretty much okay instruments.

Considering material, that is wood and metal, the clarinet is excellent but it has innocent and bigs acoustics y technical mistakes that if you don't fix them you can say they are bad clarinets or at least imperfect clarinets. If you fix them again you can say they are good clarinets. So if you buy and kohlert sons or similar clarinet may be you can find some important errors.

Are you asking us for our opinions or telling us yours? I don't understand your latest post.

I have overhauled four or five prewar Kohlert clarinets, one of which was Oehler-system, and the others were Boehm. They were all decent, solid instruments with no major flaws.

Are they worth anything on the market? No. Check 'completed auctions' on eVilBay if you want to get actual sale prices.

I think anyone can give an opinion and I guess many of the issues and information here or that can be here in this site can be found in other places. But anyway, mine is a good instrument but it has major flaws and in my opinion I think if a clarinet like this were new and if you were able to fix the flaws correctly and aesthetocally well, I think it could cost 3000 dollars but if you dont fix it , it could cost only 500. I think if we dont want problems we should by modern clarinets not old ones.
