Today while breaking in 5 of my reeds, 2 of them seemed to have a chirp/whistle mainly whenever I started an attack on C5 or D5, however some other notes had this issue as well. I've had this issue before, but not on this MP/Reed combination (Reserve X5 and Reserve Classic 3.5's). After doing some research, I read it's possible that these are occurring because of a tiny leak somewhere in the instrument, and considering I haven't had it looked at in over a year it might be likely. However wouldn't I notice other problems as well? And not only that, but wouldn't all my reeds do that if it were the case?

Problems over the entire length of the instrument have a cumulative effect as the tube gets longer, so the long fingerings will be most affected by small leaks farther up. Does the same happen with B4 (long B)? If leaks are the problem, they'll be more likely to cause problems with reeds that are a little unstable to begin with. Another possibility is that you're reacting to the higher resistance of the long fingerings by squeezing your embouchure a little when you start those notes.
Why wonder if leaks could be the cause? Get the clarinet checked by a good repair person and then you'll know.

Yes, it could be a slight leak that effects one register more than another with certian reeds but it could also just be a matter of reed balancing. With some reeds, even if the reed is balanced, it may still chirp, we call it having a birdie in the reed, it's because of uneven grain in the wood that you can't balance. You should have your clarinet checked anyway, it's always a good idea. Make sure the throat tone A key is not opening a tiny bit because the screw is just a tiny bit to far down. It's always good to have just a smigen of a space between the A and G# key,
