 Clarinet top c

Hello all,
I play my top c with the long b flat and e flat fingering. But i can only play it at forte. is there any point trying to home it in or is this just an impossibility?

You should be able to play top high C quietly with practice.

Which RH pinky key are you using?

I like the Sp. Th. xoo|xoo F#/C# fingering for top high C.

I just use the eb ab key.
Sorry to be an idiot but what do Sp. and Th. mean?

Use any of the other RH pinky keys (apart from the Ab/Eb key) to see if that helps.

One other good fingering when going up to the C from G is:

Th, Sp, xoo/xoo (Alt G)

Th, Sp, Xoo/xxx low E/B key (Alt C)

Ideal for those C major arpeggios in the Spohr Concerto's 1 and 2

That's an excellent one.

Another good all around high C fingering is:

TR + A key oxo/xoo (Eb)
