What'd you get?

Nothing for me, except I did get the name and contact info a jazz instructor in the area that apparently is a great teacher and I'm looking forward to the new year to start the road to jazz.

Santa must have had a very musical Xmas this Year. He brought me:
A Clark Fobes ' San Francisco' professional mouthpiece for my Eb clarinet; Photoscore Ultimate programme for scanning and transposing, a piccolo and a solid silver Miyazawa head joint for my flute :-). Oh yes and lots of Vandoren V12 reeds! Thank you Santa x

My two granddaughter clarinet players received from me the "Fifteen Grandes Solos de Concert" and the Dover edition of "Six Suites for Cello".

Santa (aka my spouse) got me very little because I just got myself a really expensive overhaul and a new barrel earlier this month. I'm thrilled with the overhaul. I also got a subscription to 8notes.com

Ben Armato's "The Opera Clarinetist"
Some new concert attire (so I don't wear the same outfit 4-5 days a week!)
My sister got me beautiful hand made journals with music imprinted on the cover.
A C.D. of famous Italian opera arias arranged for orchestra

I lucked out. :)

I got something that is black, does it count?

I got an 8 volume set of The Scribner Radio Music Library. Each volume is hardcover and about 250 pages of the greatest classical music composed before 1931 (the set's publication date). That should sharpen my transposing skills!

I get this when I forget to turn off the stove before walking out of the kitchen to answer a phone call. [tongue]

To remain in the kitchen, I got a plate with some music on it. Looking at the rhythms it must be something jazzy (didn't get around to "play by plate" yet).

Nothing. I wasn't asking for anything. Oddly,I have everything I need! [rotate] I know, that's blasphemy, but I really am happy with all my gear at present.

Well, it was a camera. I guess I can take photos of clarinets with it. But unlike a clarinet player, it has a Quiet mode... :)

I got (myself) an old Selmer "table" mouthpiece beautifully refaced by Terry Guidetti. The mouthpiece came with my Selmer R.I. clarinet and I have no doubt is the original furnished with it. Table was polished so highly you could use it as a mirror! The legend is true that the importer would shine these things up after they arrived from Paris. Hysterical. So American.

I got a table top music stand for practice at home and a new pull through and bore oil. Not really that exciting - and I actually bought them myself but it was with money given to me for Christmas, so I suppose I can count them as presents lol.

A student got me a framed sign that says "Keep calm and play on." :-)

Santa was thoughtful enough to drop some bottles of hand sanitizer in my stocking.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to find any Ezo, not even in Retirement Central, FL. Going to have to come up with something else.

Reeds.
A book of Christmas arrangements with play-along CD.
An elementary book to use in teaching lessons.

What Santa overlooked: a new mouthpiece (Birthday is coming up, though...)
