You do have to laugh at the photos of the E11 Eb and C clarinets!

The RC and the Vintage have the same description -- the original R13 bore. Is there any difference?

By definition the RC bore is different to the R13, surely that's why it was created in the first place.
The Vintage is alledged to have the "original R13" bore though precisely how that differs from a "modern R13" bore I have never seen defined by Buffet.

Just reading the blurb about the alto and contra-alto clarinets and it says:

"... these clarinets have a fundamental place in concert orchestras. ... They can be found in small clarinet groups, concert ensembles or symphonies."

Right then, name a symphony with an alto or contra-alto part.

I suppose this was written in French then translated, some of the english is a bit clunky (or as Chris P points out, misleading- I wonder if in French there is a term "concert ensembles" or something like that that translates as concert orchestras? The original greek referred to a "chorus of voices"). I love the person responsible for the art of reaming the bore being called the "Bore driller" (especially as they don't actually use a drill).
The sound of the pages turning is a great touch, big ups to whoever orchestrated that!

And also 'welder' in reference to keywork making - nickel silver, bronze and brass key pieces are hard soldered together (same basic principle as brazing) and not welded.

If they were made from stainless steel or aluminium, then they'd probably be welded.

now that'd be a job with street cred - "1st welder for BC".
I'd be 3rd rubber hammerer, to fix BassClar bells. :-)

The catalog would not let me go past the page for the Divine clarinets. Kinbda weird, but not expected from the folks at BC.
