 Buffet serial numbers
Author: Tom A

Has Buffet stopped maintaining their s/n list? I entered a number on their automated s/n search,

http://www.buffet-crampon.com/en/instruments.php

and it returned that no instrument matches that number. I have seen the number, and everything indicates the instrument is an R13. The other lists, such as the one on woodwind.org, have them up to a few years ago. This horn will have been manufactured in the last 4 or 5 years, but I'd like to be more precise.

Yeah I tried the same thing with my Tosca, only 5 months old, and nothing comes back...
And then I tried an R13 A that I had around at the time and still nothing came back, and it was probably 4-5 years old.
