 Rene Lorien Clarinet

I have an old wooden clarient with original case. The brand is Rene Lorien and I think made in Italy, though it is hard to read. There is a seriel number but I can not make out all the numbers. I know the instrument is about 50 years old. As I have played it for many lovely years and my mother also played before me. She was given it in High School as a second hand instrument.

After a fair bit of looking around I have only found one other mention of this brand.

Can anyone give me any information regarding it? As unfortunately a student has chipped the wood at a join and I am looking to see if it is in deed worth fixing for other students and sentimental value.

Thank you

I have enjoyed reading many of the old clarinet posts and learning even more about the history of this beautiful instrument.
