I just looked and WWBW has Vandoren V12 clarinet reeds listed at $18.95.
Although currency valuation is not an exact science, most analysts agree because of serious weakness in the US economy: the current account deficit, the slower growth rate, and the weakening of the housing market, the US dollar will continue its long term slide and further weaken against the Euro and the British Pound.
How does the prospect of higher reed prices affect your purchases? Did you load up on reeds back in the late 90's when the dollar was strong? Do age your reeds so long that over time you have such a supply that you don't need to buy any more?
