St. Olaf would be another private Minnesota College to consider. They have a very serious music department. I have a lot of friends who are involved with the program there, and they're all top notch.

Augsburg would be another good choice, especially if you wanted to be in the Twin Cities area. They have some outstanding music department faculty.

Both of these institutions have many faculty members who are out in the community doing a lot of performing. They do, and they teach.
