I have a Selmer Radio Improved that I'd like to get refurbished. Does anyone have a recommendation in the DFW area, prefereably north of Dallas?
I was told that Heather Karlsson was good but it appears from her website that she isn't taking any new business.
Any other recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Had I been over in Canton, I'd have taken it on.
I think Scott Engle is over Tyler way - not sure if he's independent or works for a shop.

Try Tarpley Music in Frisco.
They overhauled an instrument for me last summer and it came out great.

I've used David's Instrument Repair in Carrolton to overhaul my 1947 pre-R13 Buffet and he did a great job. He mostly specializes in saxes but does lots of different instruments. Even if you don't use him, you should check out his shop. Lots of cool old and quirky wind instruments hanging everywhere.

I'm down in Waxahachie. If you want Denton area I'd recommend TBWinds.
