The Legere material seems to have a good molecular memory.

I've had satisfactory results correcting warpage by using clothes pegs to hold the affected area flat on a piece of glass and then heating it up . The glass should remain a comfortable temperature to touch . A safe hight above a radiator etc.

It's worth a try if the alternative is throwing the reed away .
