I've seen a few reports of warped Legere reeds, but of the 20 or so I've played in the past few years, that's never happened to me. I've just had them start to split at the tip as they reach the end of their life. They're usually unplayable by then for other reasons.

I play Legere on bari and bass saxes, so pretty huge gap on those, never any warping for me. It's hard for me to imagine how hard plastic could warp anyway without uneven mechanical or thermal stresses.

Just do an exchange if it happens within the first 30 days.
