But this super glue, when you were about to replace the material(the patch), scraping off the mouthpiece wasn't too hard for the glue to come off? And I assume you were also scraping the mouthpiece beak's surface along with the glue? That's not good.. Anyway, I think though the rubber band might be better for teeth stability on the mouthpiece.. especially better than those BG, Vandoren and 0.8mm black patches in general. Can stand those.. Yamaha's 0.5mm material I can tell is great for teeth hooking well and the clear patches work as well in my experience.. But I don't know, maybe rubber band material.. I have the impression It does the better job of all, am I right?
