yes the window on my stock noblet mpc is quite a bit more narrow than most. i continue to use it only because its a really good mpc. i was suprised -didnt expect it to be any good . i will try the vandoren next as i have a b44 that i bought for my bundy alto clair a long time ago. i bought a legere american cut reed and thats the one that bothers me. i do have an original version i also will try and see if it fits better.
