Personally I wouldn't play with anybody until I get the vaccine, but that's not your question. Though 12 feet apart, are you facing each other (ie. in a circle, triangle, whatever?)?
Reason is I would occasionally rehearse my H.S. jazz band in a circle. They could hear each other much better so it was tighter. Then again, may not make as much of a difference with clarinets.
