Hi Bern .
I’ve got a G Leblanc, with the Small capital G in-line with the LEBLANC, serial 5026. It has separate RH Eb/Ab rod. I don’t think Leblanc, along with many other European manufacturers, were using ‘model’ names, they didn’t have a ‘model range’, they were just making the best instruments they could. My clarinet plays very nicely, despite a stable crack in the barrel. If it has a fault, perhaps the A/Bb throat venting could be nicer, but I’ve used it a lot. it has better tuning than both my late Dynamic Hs and my 50’s Selmer Centred Tone. I think it’s late 1940s, early 1950s, but never seen an authoritative serial/date list.
-Andy-

p.s if anyone has a spare undamaged barrel with the correct logo, pls let me know.
