Size of finger holes Yamaha 650

Hi,

I purchased a Yamaha 650 nearly 2 years ago, but ever since I've had it, I've had trouble with the middle B and sometimes the C. I've had the clarinet serviced and checked at least twice in this time, but I'm just not doing well! Prior to that I had a very old Buffet (not sure which one), which I got on with much better in terms of being able to make those notes play well.

I had a chat with a few people including a couple of music teachers. The music teachers pointed out that the size of the finger holes in the bottom section were larger than their Buffet and Selmer clarinets. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have fairly slender, arthritic fingers.

Thanks!
