BTW, the Rubank book isn't graded by skill level, although there are a few very easy ones on the first few pages. It's organized mostly by composers or styles. So even toward the back, for example in the section of canons, there is a range of difficulty. So, I have found that trying to go sequentially from beginning to end is often not a good idea. I do have one student who began lessons with me as an incoming 4th grader and started with the easiest cherry-picked duets but who is now as an incoming 7th grader playing through all the ones we skipped.
Also, the difficulties aren't always technical. They're often rhythmic problems that my 4th to 5th grader wasn't ready to parse out but that may not present as much (if any) difficulty for you as an adult with a long performance background apart from the clarinet.
