I decided to YouTube this thing since I had never heard of it. It reminded me of how grateful I am that after retirement I could play a Christmas concert with "Sleigh Ride" and not have to put up with "Twas the Night Before Christmas" with narrators that don't know how to read music!


This piece isn't so bad if you think of it as an early, long lost Gilbert and Sullivan overture (perhaps "Pirates of the USS Pinafore").

I personally don't hear much in here that says "Christmas." But I've heard worse.
