If you have a selection of spring sizes, then check which one is the best fit in the F#/C# key. I think they're around 0.6mm, but can't say for definite.

Reason being I bin these springs as a matter of course and respring this key in the more conventional manner - by fitting a much longer and heavier gauge spring in the pillar and turning the lug on the F#/C# key into a spring catch. The action and spring tension can be balanced much better than the short spring that digs into the slot in the wood.

The opinions I express are my own.
