My first thought is you have metal to metal contact going on. Yamaha horns should be very quiet. Have a tech look at it or send the horn to me at no charge, if you live in the USA. The CSG111's are fine horns. I've tested them and love the huge even sound. Maybe a cork fell off or you are missing a silicone insert. It's probably a 5 minute fix.
