Have a Korg CA-1 chromatic tuner. It is now set to 440 Hz. Other settings may be possible - I just left it at 440. So with Bb clarinet it reads a higher note than is played on the clarinet. Would it be advisable, if possible, to set the Hz so that the tuner reads the clarinet note being played, like if I finger an E3 it would read E instead of D? Don't know if it is possible or what Hz number but thought it would be less confusing than converting the reading.
Another way to say it, if I wish to tune so tuner reads the clarinet note fingered, what Hz below A440 do I set it? It has up and down arrows but I am unsure what number to use.
I don't think I can do this. The range is 480 - 410 and at 410 it reads F#.
