If you like the children's poetry of Shel Silverstein, you might try Lori Anderson's "Animal Antics for Clarinet and Narrator," a setting of two of Silverstein's humorous poems.
Just for Winds carries this. https://www.justforwinds.com/animal-antics-for-clarinet-and-narrator.
Samone Fontanelli's "Pinocchio" for narrator and clarinet is on YouTube. (German text though).
Both of these might be expecially good for a performance before school children.
Also don't forget the smaller trio chamber version of Stravinsky's Story of a Soldier. You can use the original narrative from the larger version or edit your own.
If you want something more avant guarde (with computers, synthesizers, electronics, etc) you might try contacting John E. Anderson professor emeritus of clarinet at the University of Minnesota. I believe he has performed some works of that kind and could probably give you some leads.
Actually there is more if you search YouTube with the tag "clarinet and narrator" or "narrator and clarinet."
