The C12 is the model in between the E13 and R13 - 'C' for 'Conservatoire' (French for music school/music college) and not a conservatory that's a mostly glazed lean-to built onto a house (to bring the indoors outdoors/outdoors indoors).

They kind of get overlooked as people either go for the E13 on their way up from a B12 (and maybe from an E11), then from the E13 to an R13 bypassing that higher intermediate step.
