Hi All,
My mother's old clarinet is a wood Strasser (SML) that we think dates to the early 1950s, but it could have been earlier. She used it for years in marching bands and shows. I took lessons on it when I was in elementary school for a few years, but gave up. 35 years later I've been thinking about picking it up again to learn.
Wondering from the board... worth refurbishing it? I think SMLs were generally good but Strasser was the student model? But I've read online that the wood strasser had good tone.
wondering if it is worth refurb'ing it or generally thoughts you might have on that model/vintage.
Thanks!
cheers,
Aaron
