When the clarinet and violin are close together, as in a passage of thirds, I find that sometimes the difference frequencies at what I assume are the higher harmonic levels are a little grating, especially in the upper part of the clarinet tessitura. And then there's always the issue of playing in tune with a heavily vibrato-laden violin tone, especially unisons. The vibrato issue may be greater with an "intermediate" violinist who may not have complete control of her vibrato (assuming she has added it to her arsenal).
Then there are, of course, the usual pitch issues that a clarinetist needs to deal with in any ensemble situation - possibly sharp throat and high clarion tones, flat low chalumeau notes, general pitch accuracy in the altissimo register (where the difference frequencies can be really intense), etc....
Not very different from any ensemble playing, but you can hear the problems better than in a band or orchestra.
