I acquired a used crappy bass clarinet recently.
It plays ok except in the clarion (single register) baring in mind Ive had it for a day and never played bass extensively before.
Anyway, I was cleaning it today when I looked inside the neck and saw loads of tarnish and gunk, I tried swabbing to no effect.
Can anyone recommend a suitable way to clean the neck?
Im thinking of copying this: http://www.shwoodwind.co.uk/HandyHints/Crook_cleaning.htm
Any advice?
Thanks
