I listened to good initial portions of the Brahms second sonata, Mozart Concerto and the Poulenc sonata. Very fine playing. He seemed his most interpretive in the Mozart. With the Poulenc I couldn't help but be reminded of the performance David Shifrin gave at last years Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium. David brought out the schizophrenic nature of the contrasting themes of the first movement from the outset to the end which was magical. Pietro's version is not magical, but it's still very good.
