 Selmer 10S 'D' Series
Author: Hover the

Hi,

I bought a step-up clarinet for my son, a Selmer Paris 10S, and I was researching its age. The serial number is D8XXX. From the list here:

http://www.clarinetperfection.com/snclarinet.htm

the series only goes up to 'B' which started around 1980. Did they continue making the 10s in the 80s up through a D series? Did the Recital series replace the 10s in 1984, or did they keep making them after the Recital series was launched?

Thanks
