Buffet N1 Amerique

I recently got hold of an older model Buffet Crampon clarinet. After punching in the serial number on the Buffet website, it came back with a description I have never heard of.

Brand : Buffet Crampon
Instrument : N� 1 Sib Am�rique
Serial number : 108751
Year of manufacturing : 16/07/1959

Buffet says it's an N1 Amerique made in 1959? Yet, when comparing the serial number to others, 105000 to 111000 were made in 1969.

Does anyone know about an N1 Amerique model. I have looked all over the web and can't find any info about an N1 model. I plan to get it overhauled and would like to give it to a grandchild who plans to be a clarinet major in college. Is this clarinet a pro model?
