 Short Facing

Okay so I understand the whole Long Facing, Closed tip=harder reed and vice versa. what if you have a short and closed like the the fobes cicero 14 at 16mm and 1.08mm? would a V12/FOF reed work well with a short faced mouthpiece? if so what strength? or would the regular vandorens/RC Gonzalez work better, and if so what strength?
