 Instructor rec'd in MD/Balto area
Author: Chalumeau Joe

I am an adult "re-learner"...I picked up the clarinet again last year after a 25 yr. hiatus and am pleased with my re-learning progress. However, I'm at the point that I'm confident and serious enough that I want to seek out a private instructor. The style of music I like to play and would like to develop proficiency in is Trad jazz and, in general, music from the 1920s-40s.

What I am looking for in an instructor: an instructor who appreciates this kind of music (I've found a few that aren't) and is tolerant of new-old beginners.

Any recommendations (preferably posted to me via private e-mail) on instructors in the Baltimore, MD/Howard County area?

Kind regards,
Joe
