Secondhand RBs do turn up occasionally, but if they're from one of the top makers and in good nick, you'll still be looking at a hefty price tag...
There have been a few H. Wurlitzer RBs in the Classifieds on this site over the past couple of years - one just a few weeks back. The German site Vioworld has a secondhand section; mostly Oehlers, but occasionally you'll see RBs there. Schwenk & Seggelke also sells secondhand instruments...
I play RBs from one of the top makers. They are fine instruments, but not necessarily better than a fine French clarinet, just different - it's swings and roundabouts.
(If you do find one, check the pitch - I have a friend who bought a magnificent set of Fritz Wurlitzers in London years ago, they played very high)
