I myself don't play very well, and probably am not as good as most college level students are. Not EVEN ordinary, if you will. But I sure do love playing, and if I could afford an extraordinary instrument, you bet your @$$ that I'd buy it. But I don't see it as unfortunate, unless Morrigan meant that it was unfortunate that he wasn't able to buy it before someone else.
