Copyright laws---we need them.

But--

This century will not produce a Tchaikovsky, or Grieg, or Dvorak, or Copland. There aren’t any more “folk” tunes.

But do we need the laws we currently have where nothing makes it into the public domain or should we return to the time limits that were outlined by our founding fathers in 1790?
