 hey, so i play the flute and want to play another instrument also. i heard that the fingering for flute and sax are almost identical! is that true???

 yes, they are almost identical for the most part.  But just don't assume that they are when you are learning.  Look in a finguring chart book to make sure.

 No!!!!!! That is not true the Saxaphone and the Clairnet fingerings are indentical exactly!

 the claranet and sax are so not the same. I play the flute trombone clarinet and sax so i would no. Three fingers down on the clarinet is middle c and three fingers down on flte and sax is g!!!
