The Alto Clarinet is played in exactly the same way as a normal clarinet, except for two very small differences.
1. There is a low Eb key for the right little finger which plays a note one semitone lower than the normal lowest note.
2. For the very high notes, you uncover a hole in the left index finger pad instead of lifting this finger.
Other than that, you play it exactly the same way.

I recently purchased a evette clarinet. I learned to play in junior high, 25 years ago. I have forgotten everything I learned then, and would really like to play again, including fingerrins, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Di.
