Yamaha Flute A440 or A442? It didn't say on my Yamaha website or manual. TIA.

Most manufacturers make flutes in a number of different pitches, so it will depend very much on which model you got. Where did you buy it? If you got in Europe it could be either, if you got it in the States it is almost definitely 440.

I don't know how to say which you have, but if you're trying to choose between the two, I'd choose 442. A real A is at 440, but if you're playng with a group that's slightly sharp, the 442 will do you better. It's easier to make a sharp flute flatter than to make a flat one sharper.
