Hi,
I'm wondering what the popular opinion of the Vito Clarinet is? Right now I have a Bundy and I'm having some issues with it, so I would like to trade it in for another one and the guy in the store recommended Vito. I would like to stay in the lower price range and he said Vito was the best of the 'beginner' clarinets.
Any thoughts?

Vito is one of the best of the student range. It is made by G Leblanc. I had a Vito for a few years and started learning the clarinet with it. Another very respectable student clarinet is the Buffet B12.
Make sure that if you buy a second-hand clarinet, you get it checked out by a technician to see are all the pads and corks in good condition. A leaky pad can make it impossible to play some notes and you certainly don't want that when you are learning. It usually only costs a few dollars to have a pad replaced.

What are your issues with the Bundy? Maybe it just needs some maintenance. Beginner clarinets made by Leblanc (i.e. Vito), Selmer (i.e. Bundy), Yamaha, and Buffet (i.e. B-12) are all good.
Make sure you understand your current problems before racing off to replace your current clarinet.

Vito is a very good clarinet. I have one. It is hard to blow on your first day. You should by a Vito.
