I'm playing a very old bari sax (all I can afford...), a great horn made by King in the 20s. This instrument has an incredible sound but doesn't have the side key for high E nor does it have the palm key for high F (and of course no high F# key), so Eb is all the higher I can go. Are there any other fingerings I could use to get out E and F (without the side E and palm F keys)? I don't think those notes are that important on bari anyway, but they do pop up in written parts and I end up making up new parts to avoid playing those notes.

My first sax had the same problems so i delt with them by barganing with a local fix shop saying i would work for them for free if they would fix my horn.
