Hello, I am an intermediate player in Alto Sax and Flute and I wanted to purchase both of these instruments and the best deals I found were a Blessing Alto Sax and flute and a Jupiter Alto Sax and flute. Are these brands quality instruments? or are they just a waste of money? These models were student/intermediate models and they played really smooth when I tried them but they offer a 2 year warranty therefore I'm uncertain whether they are good enough. Thanks in advance for any input or advice.

I have a Jupiter 631N clarinet. The construction in body and key work is good. I am satisfy with its tone quality too. I can say so because I also have a professional buffet and a leblanc intermediate clarinet. The jupiter is no worse than the buffet and leblanc in terms of its low cost.
A fellow member in my community band plays a Jupiter alto sax and I can justiy that it is a good instrument.

Thank you for the comment! I've read feedback from Jupiter instruments costumers and they have all been pleased with their quality so now I'm looking forward to purchase a Jupiter rather than a Blessing.

I play on a Jupiter flute and it is amazing. A better play than I've had on a Blessing, and I've played on both.

I know a fine floutist who plays in my community band and she plays on a Jupiter pro-line instrument.
I have personally played a couple Jupiter Artist series saxophones, a tenor and an alto, and I could recommend them both as my top pick among budget-oriented pro-line instruments. Unlike Jupiters from just a few years ago, the modern ones actually pass for being quality instruments. The old ones tended to be junk.
you can generally pick up the alto/tenor for $1100/$1300 respectively online.
