SarahC, there are many different shapes and dimensions for oboe reeds, and most players have a shape or dimensions that work well for them. Generally you will find none of this specified in commercially bought reeds, unless you buy from a player who makes their own and sells them. Good luck in your studies and in finding good reeds.
