Well, Adam Smith would assume that there is competition between US dealers, and that they would cut their prices as the costs of imports fall, in an attempt to get more market share.
But there is the matter of "sticky prices" and other market imperfections. I do see that some firms are "authorized dealers" of some brands; this may constitute a barrier to entry and an opportunity to exert some price control.
