 F. Giraud gougers and shapers

Joseph Claude posted pictures of his Giraud gouger on Facebook and asked if anyone had dates for the manufacture. My take is early 1900's, but I'm not that sure. Does any of you have better information than my guess? (Peter, I was thinking particularly of you... :-)
