Dutchy! I have seen Decatur on the exit signs around here. Small world!
I am getting to know the layout pretty quickly and have done a lot of walking, plus starting to use the bus which seems pretty good, and everyone attests to that! Don't worry about jaywalking - I refuse to cross anywhere that isn't controlled for fear that I may have looked the wrong way and might get hit! (Yes, we drive on the other side of the road).
Our new apartment (as of Monday) overlooks the mall, so don't have too far to go for food and shopping! I was pleased to see the variety of international food, as being from a largely multicultural country we eat a lot of fairly authentic ethnic food. Yet to find Vegemite though. :(
I will meet with some faculty members next week to talk about classes and auditions, so looking forward to getting playing once I have set up my new apartment - setting up a home from scratch knowing I have a houseful of furniture and supplies across the world sure is an odd feeling!
