Yes, I own a Moennig metal oboe with auto octave key mechanism. It plays ok and would probably be of an intermediate level. Since I play on a fine Loree, I've never spent the time to make fine adjustments or make specific reeds for this Moennig to see if it really would be useable.
It was mounted in a picture frame when I bought it for $25 from a coworker. He also sold me a Pedlar Eb clarinet in another frame for $25 with a great mouthpiece.
