I don't have any advice for repairs out east, but if you can take the oboe (rather than mail it) that would be far preferrable! Everything is at least 6 hours away from where I live, but I'd make it a road trip and have a great time. If you have to send it one way, make it the first leg and go pick it up in person. Good luck!
