I’ve been deciding on getting a new clarinet but just don’t know what model. I’ve been playing for almost nine years and I’ve been using a wooden student model clarinet for four years maybe three. I would like to buy one that around or under 3,000 dollars. I’ve been watching and reading reviews but very unsure of what to get. This also come down to mouthpieces as well as I’ve had teachers debate on ddarrios and vandoran.

Are you studying currently with a teacher whom you like and respect? If so, take his or her advice. With no clear idea of what you're looking for, you have no real basis for making the choice on your own, and you'll get too many opinions here to be useful.
You don't say what the "wooden student model" is that you're playing now. Given your price limit of around $3,000, your instrument may be as good as anything else you'll find.
As to mouthpieces, you don't say what you're using now, either. D'Addario and Vandoren are both well respected mass-produced mouthpieces. Again, if you trust and respect your teacher and have no other reason of your own to make a choice, go with your teacher's suggestion. You won't get a bad mouthpiece, and they aren't so expensive that they represent a lifelong commitment.

Upgrading your clarinet after nine years and a student model is a great step. With a budget around or under $3,000, focus on quality intermediate to entry-level professional models like the **Buffet Crampon E13 (or a good used R13)**, the **Yamaha YCL-650**, or a **Backun Protégé**. For mouthpieces, both **Vandoren** and **D'Addario** are excellent, but personal preference dictates which facing or brand suits you best. The most crucial advice for both the clarinet and mouthpiece is to **try them out yourself**, ideally with your teacher, before making a final decision.
