I recently received a new Marcus Bonna case as a birthday present, which came with a Boveda 49%RH pack and holder. Within a few weeks, the cork pad under the chalmeau A key began leaking. Mere coincidence or could the gradual increase in humidity have caused this?
I'm inclined to think that the stable 50%RH maintained in my case has nothing on the humidity my pads are subjected to while I am playing, but the timing is just SO perfect! Has anyone else had any similar coincidences? I really love this new case and like the idea of a stable RH for my clarinet, just curious.
Thanks,
Bechi

Water does not leak from the pad when the humidity rises.
It just coincidence
The MB case is the perfect case to put the boveda in and keep the humidity constant. I have a small hygrometer in it and it is very stable. It's a good gift!
